Psalm 131

Life is frantic and difficult, isn't it?

Those of us who believe in Jesus have access to God's glorious throne. And our Lord, Jesus, told us not to worry (Matthew 6).

So let's take a few moments to pray...

LORD, my heart is not haughty,
Nor my eyes lofty.
Neither do I concern myself with great matters,
Nor with things too profound for me.

Surely I have calmed and quieted my soul,
Like a weaned child with his mother;
Like a weaned child [is] my soul within me.

O Israel, hope in the LORD
From this time forth and forever.
